The famous three stations square which has long won fame of one of the most notorious places of the capital will from now on be less shocking for Muscovites and visitors. No, the beggars, stray dogs and kiosks with poorly smelling meat-pies have not been removed from there, but pavilions trading videos of dubious content were confronted vigorously.
It happened right after Nikoly Agoshko, head of Yaroslavsky board of  internal affairs, militia captain received a letter from IPO «Spravedlivost» which described scrupulously the situation at the patch near Komsomolskaya underground station. It is no secret that recently for quite a long time it was no problem to buy a XXX category cassette or disc there. The sale was open, pavilion windows were decorated with provocative covers before the eyes of astonished passers-by. And it is no less than unlawful distribution of pornographic materials and is subject to Article 242 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. Militia patrols at the square are not seldom, but before they did not prevent brisk and undisguised trade of «hot» video. It is pleasant that after appeal made by «Spravedlivost» militia command reacted very efficiently: the obscene discs were just like blown away.

It should be noted that IPO «Spravedlivost» and the movement «Narodny Sobor» already raised the problem of distribution of  pornographic produce before. Thus, on this May 6 members of the both public organizations placed a picket against free sale of books for children with elements of pornograpy  near the Central Book House on New Arbat. Now intent attention is paid to the problem of unlawful distribution of pornographic materials in Moscow. The situation at Komsomolskaya square is just an example, XXX-trading is on in all the parts of the capital, dexterous dealers are not afraid of being stopped by militia, or threat of criminal prosecution. IPO «Spravedlivost» continues follow the situation and urges law authorities no to shut their eyes at such obvious violation of law.
